This beautiful and scenic Lake Naivasha, one of the Great Rift Valley freshwater Lakes is only 1.5 hour to 2 hrs drive from Kenya's capital. Enjoy an amazing view of the Great Rift Valley and Mount Longonot for excellent photo opportunities. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora, and many species of birds and is one of the two only Kenyan Parks where climbing, walking and biking are allowed.

On arrival, explore Hell's Gate National Park with its bizarre rock formations.  After lunch at one of the lodges in Lake Naivasha, we invite you on a short boat ride on the lake and a visit to the local "Crescent Island" to walk among giraffe, waterbuck, gazelle, and zebra and view an ornithological paradise. Return to Nairobi in the early evening (departing Naivasha latest at 16.00 hours)

Brief Information

To begin your tour, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, or the airport at no extra cost. Then, drive to Hell's Gate National Park for an amazing day trip. Enjoy watching the local wildlife by either walking or riding a bike in the Park. This is one of the few national parks where hiking is allowed. The Park has amazing features including deep gorges, red colored cliffs, rock towers, hot springs, and geysers. This day tip offers visitors the chance to go game viewing by bicycle. Ride around the Park surrounded by hordes of wild animals like buffalo, giraffes, zebra, and impala. Later, after lunch, you will go to Lake Naivasha to have a boat ride before coming back to Nairobi.

0700hrs: Depart Nairobi for Lake Naivasha Hells gate national park

0800hrs: A Brief stopover at the Rift valley view point

09:00hrs: Arrive Hells gate national park and proceed on 5-7 hours walking / biking / hiking adventure including walking down the gorges

1430hrs: Enjoy lunch (own cost) at one of the lodges located at the shores of lake Naivasha

1530hrs: Enjoy a boat ride to see the hippos and different species of birds

1630hrs: Depart for Nairobi to be dropped off at a location of your choice within the city.
