After breakfast, take a full day game drive in Masai mara”– Kenya’s finest game reserve –with gentle rolling grasslands teeming with a plethora of animals and birdlife. See the Thompsons and Grant Gazelles Topi, Eland, Zebra, Waterbuck, Giraffe, Hippo, wild beast, warthog, Crocodiles, Ostrich, Vultures amongst others and over 450 birds’ species, with over 50 birds of prey. One thing is for sure, in Masai mara, you will experience nature in its wild wonder. Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It has a long history of capturing the imagination of travelers, a continent of dramatic contrasts that gives you an unforgettable and remarkable experience whether it’s in an amazement of watching thousands of wild beasts struggling across a rushing river that is littered with crocodiles waiting for their prey, makes the world’s premier wildlife spectacle. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Renowned for its magnificent Big Cat population that hunt the wildebeest, zebra and other plains game that dominate the Mara, it has even been nicknamed the Kingdom of the Lions. Finding a pride of lions (there are some 400 lions resident in the reserve and neighboring conservancies) is normally relatively easy – and high on most visitors’ must-see lists. Leopards are also seen increasingly often, and good sightings of cheetahs can be expected. Other predators regular seen throughout the reserve and conservancies include fascinating spotted hyenas (rarely bothered by human observers and compelling in their social interactions) black-backed and side-striped jackals, and cute pairs of bat-eared foxes. With luck, you may also see a Serval – a lanky, striped and spotted cat of tall grass and bush, adept at catching small mammals and birds.
The most rear predator of the Maasai Mara, the wild dog, is a beautiful, nomadic pack animal. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Golden-manned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.

The Serengeti is the "other side" of the famous wildebeest and zebra migration in the unit that consists of the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania. Divided by a borderline that the animals are luckily not aware of, this wonderful piece of earth is home to the world's greatest concentration of wildlife. The Serengeti National Park is a must-do if you want to experience the extraordinary spectacle of the migration. The great waving open grasslands supply food to thousands of wildebeest and zebra with others like buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and gazelle and antelope species thrown into the mix. Cattle belonging to Masai tribesmen dressed in their traditional red robes also compete with the wildlife for their grazing. The migration typically follows a circle route from Masai Mara in the north to the south of the Serengeti and back to repeat the process over and over. This prospective safari involves timing, since these movements does not occur on exact dates and varies from year to year. Check in at the lodge for dinner and Overnight.
