DAY 1:  NAIROBI / AMBOSELI

You begin your magical holiday as you board your flight to Kenya, the Heart of an African Safari, on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will clear the customs as the Heritage of African Jungles office representative will be waiting to meet you for a briefing then drive to Amboseli national park passing through the Athi Plains where formerly the Burchells zebra, the Masai giraffe, and smaller herbivores roamed about freely. With human encroachment, the wildlife is confined to game parks. There is an advantage to this because one has to drive inside a park to be rewarded with the sight of many different species of animals. Arrive at the lodge for lunch and embark on an afternoon game viewing at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft). In the late afternoon, one is likely to see a lion or cheetah make a kill. Ideal photography opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro highest mountain in Africa providing a beautiful backdrop.  Proceed to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of elephants, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe, and small species of the antelope family, the common waterbuck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi, and the. Return back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI

Awake early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. We will then set off on a “spice” game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes to baboons. Breakfast after returning to the camp and then an optional visit to a nearby Masai village. You will eat lunch at the lodge at midday and enjoy an afternoon rest before going on another game drive.
Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen. These warriors are a famous and proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a camp or lodge

DAY 3: AMBOSELI / LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru national in the Great Rift Valley to arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive in the park to enjoy the sight of pelicans bathing in the freshwater streams which terminate in Lake Nakuru. Since there is no existing drainage, Lake Nakuru is alkaline, the perfect place for flamingos to feed on the blue-green algae. The greater flamingo attains a height of about 4.26 feet its plumage is almost white with a pale pink, black-tipped beak. It is the lesser flamingo that has the more exotic color. About 2.72 ft. in height, with a rosy plumage and dark red, black-tipped beak. Lake Nakuru National Park has a great variety of birdlife which includes the Egyptian goose and a variety of ducks that come from Europe to winter. This park is truly a bird watcher's paradise. The game animals include hippo, waterbuck, gazelles, Colobus monkeys, buffalo, leopard, and the Rothschild

DAY 4:  LAKE NAKURU / MASAI MARA

After breakfast, check out and drive to Masai Mara via Narok town then enter the Maasai mara road and drive across the plains to the camp. Check-in at the lodge for lunch. The meals are buffet, enjoyed either in the dining or under the shade of indigenous trees. The culinary affair is indeed one to delight the senses, have a few minutes relaxing and enjoying the surrounding before you depart for an afternoon game drive in search of the big 5 amongst other wild game. Maasai mara” – Kenya’s finest game reserve –with gentle rolling grasslands teeming with a plethora of animals and birdlife. See the Thompsons and Grant Gazelles, Topi, Eland, Zebra, Waterbuck, Giraffe, Hippo, wild beast, warthog, Crocodiles, Ostrich, Vultures amongst others and over 450  birds species, with over 50 birds of prey. DAY 5:   FD MAASAI MARA

After breakfast, full day game viewing in Maasai Mara, Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives alternatively a full day game viewing with picnic lunch, Masai Mara Game Reserve offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Explore this part of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place. The plain is literally covered with these animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard, and territorial fights are commonplace. The migration, now declared the Seventh Wonder of the World takes place from the end of July to September. Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Our naturalist will take you to the camp compound. He will give you detailed information on plants, birds and other small animals. This takes about 1.5 hours. Maasai village visit:   USD 20 per person

You can visit a Maasai village to see their traditional life. Photography is NOT prohibited here. A Maasai guide at the village will escort and explain to you in English about their lives. It takes about 2 hours including the return transfers by us.» Duration: approx.2hours, starting at 10:00 AM

A Maasai lady will give you a lecture on how to make a beaded bracelet at our library. It will be one of your souvenirs once completed. The lecture takes about 3 hours.

 

Hot air balloon safari: USD 420 per person 
Float in the breeze over the Savannah in a balloon that gives you a unique vantage point and toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast. You will also have a game drive of about 2.5hours on the way back to the club. In. Early morning balloon safari you drift above the browsing game and have tremendous opportunities for unusual photographs. What could be more uplifting than an early morning safari in a hot air balloon flying over vast plains of Africa? Witness an African Sunrise s a plethora of wildlife roams the land beneath you. At the end of the flight you land on the plains in the midst of this enchanting Savanah champagne, breakfast is laid out with the aroma of sausages, eggs, and bacon sizzling over a charcoal fire. DAY 6:  MASAI MARA / LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, enroute  morning game viewing in Maasai mara with the chance to Sée the Big 5 probably on a hunting mission. Exit the Park and drive on to Lake Naivasha on the Great Rift Valley to arrive at your pre-booked lodge for lunch and afternoon optional activities.   Afternoon Proceed on your adventure to various attractive features and other optional activities undertaken in Lake Naivasha. Hell's Gate National Park is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. It lies beside the lake. This Park was named for its pair of massive red-tinged cliffs framing a geothermic ally active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. The park is home to a profusion of plains game and birdlife. Walking is permitted, making it ideal for hiking, biking, and rock climbing.                                                                 

The lake is almost 13kms across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metersMuch of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with birdlife, and Naivasha is known as a world-class birding. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows.
